There's a place in CDO where the devouts and the curious go to seek some Divine Intervention in their needs.Famous as a place to ask for miracles and intentions such as passing board exams, the Chapel of Guadalupe is travelled to by many.
The mini-pilgrimage to Guadalupe is not an easy hike. One needs to cross eight creeks/rivers before reaching the chapel and offering his/her intentions. Stories say that one's intention is granted only after visiting the Guadalupe Chapel once a week for nine consecutive weeks. Lucky for those who take the adventure when the tide is low and quite off luck for those who trek the place when the waters are waist-high. Wooden canes are recommended for those who might find balancing through the river current a little bit difficult. Prepare to get wet and muddy. Food is sold near the chapel but it would be better for one to bring his/her own food and water to eat during stops when the trek gets a little bit tiring.
At the end of your journey, say a prayer and ask for your miracle. Granted or not, a little bit of penance for the Holy never hurt your soul.
